Film capacitors, aka plastic film capacitors, are capacitor components constructed of a plastic film layer and two metal electrodes, usually– tin foil and aluminum foil. The electrodes are connected to the two main terminals of the capacitors.

ECW-HA3C242H4 is a kind of film capacitors with a variety of application fields. It is mostly used for Pulse Engineering and Signal Processing applications, such as power supply and control circuit, communication equipment, instruments, televised systems and aerospace engineering due to their advantages, low loss, high Q value and high frequency response.

As for working principle, ECW-HA3C242H4 film capacitors have a unique structure with a plastic film layer and two metal electrodes. Putting voltage across the two electrodes will cause electrical charge to move in the circuit and consequently create a transfer of electrical energy.
