The EE2-3NUX signal relay is designed to provide switching and isolation capabilities between low voltage DC signals in a wide range of applications. This module is particularly useful when integrated into high-frequency or high-volume applications as it is able to switch and isolate at a high-speed rate. It offers a comprehensive range of contact configuration options ranging from 1 to 8 contacts per unit and is capable of handling up to two amps of current. In addition, the relay can sense currents as low as 0.5 milliamps or as high as 2.0 amps, providing a typical switching capability of up to 500mA. The EE2-3NUX is also equipped with an unusual, very low current consumption of typically 0.5 milliamps.

The working principle of the EE2-3NUX is based on the switching of transistor-transistor logic (TTL) signals. When an input signal is present, the device converts it into a high voltage which then activates the transistor-transistor logic gates. During the input signal’s transmission, the Si transistors which open and close during the switching and isolation of the signal, are opened and closed according to the logic instructions of the commands received. These components enable the EE2-3NUX to switch signals very quickly and accurately, at speeds of up to 10MHz.
