The greater the electric field, the greater the capacitance of the capacitor.The working principle of an aluminum-polymer capacitor is similar to that of any other capacitor – an energy storage device composed of two conductive plates separated by a dielectric material. When a voltage is applied to the two outer aluminum surfaces, an electric field is created and a charge is stored in the space between the two aluminum layers.
