Common Mode Chokes

Common Mode Chokes (CMCs) are electromagnetic devices, which block the flow of common mode interference currents while allowing the desired signal currents to pass with little or no reduction in signal level. Common Mode Chokes typically consist of two identical inductors, one that is connected in series with the hot line of the signal, and the other which is connected in series with the neutral line.
