The ELF-22V025A is a highly versatile switch-mode power converter designed for high-efficiency, wide range applications in harsh environments.Utilizing adaptive frequency and stress control topology, the ELF-22V025A enables multiple operating modes that offer flexibility and optimizations to meet different application budgets performance, size and cost requirements. With the ability to operate in auto-cycle start/stop, burst or continuous mode, the ELF-22V025A provides precise power conversion in a wide variety of scenarios.The ELF-22V025A is designed with multiple pins that allow the user to easily adapt the converter to different system requirements. These pins include an ON/OFF pin that provides direct control of the output voltage, and an ENABLE pin that enables PWM control of the output voltage. Additionally, two other pins provide fault current protection (FCP) and peak current protection (PCP) during over load, over temperature, and short circuit conditions. The ELF-22V025A also features a wide input voltage range from 9 to 70 VDC and a 350 mV Reference voltage for DC-DC power conversion.The ELF-22V025A offers several features that contribute to its high efficiency and strong performance in the field. Its efficient design increases power density up to 97.5%, providing increased power output while keeping power losses low. Combined with the high output current capability, the ELF-22V025A is able to provide stable voltage and current during load variation. The ELF-22V025A also integrates an ORing diode with integrated clamping that protects against excessive currents during inrush and surge events, thus reducing the risk of damage to the power stage components. Additionally, the ELF-22V025A features a temperature rating of 125 C, providing the capability to operate in the most extreme environments.
