- The ELJ-FC5R6KF fixed inductor is a component which can be used in devices such as computers, mobile phones, electrical instruments, and so on. It is one of Murata’s most popular inductors, and is designed to introduce inductance into an electrical circuit, and to control the magnitude of currents within the circuit. The inductance produced by the ELJ-FC5R6KF is stable and reliable, as it has a small temperature coefficient, meaning that the change in inductance resulting from a change in temperature is very small. The ELJ-FC5R6KF has good coefficient stability over a range of temperatures, and its operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
- The ELJ-FC5R6KF fixed inductor is designed for use in both single- and multi-phase power converters. In a single-phase system, the inductor is used to filter high frequency noise from the power supply. In a multi-phase system, the inductor is used to reduce electromagnetic interference between phases, and reduce input current ripple.
