RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards refer to a variety of electronic components designed to allow users. EM35X-DEV is a combination of an evaluation board and development kit which uses Silicon Labs\' highly integrated BlackJet radio transceiver for the evaluation and development of an embedded system using its high performance ZigBee RF4CE platform. This transceiver is highly versatile and compatible with the Bluetooth and ZigBee Protocols as well as the Software development suite of the Silicon Labs.
The EM35X-DEV Evaluation Kit is used to quickly evaluate the ZigBee or Bluetooth connectivity and performance of any system or design. It is a low–cost alternative for users looking to quickly understand the radio frequency characteristics of the BlackJet radio transceiver. This evaluation kit is used to develop, test, and debug embedded systems using the ZigBee protocol. It is also used to aid engineers in the development, verification, and testing of their designs.
The working principle of the EM35X-DEV RF Evaluation Kit is based on the highly integrated BlackJet radio transceiver. This transceiver is optimally designed for the ZigBee RF4CE protocol and can be used for many applications involving the other Bluetooth and ZigBee protocols. The transceiver is based on the integrated EM358 equipment provider and is an ideal platform for wireless systems and sensor networks. Finally, the signal processor is responsible for processing the data received by the receiver and providing it to the user. This layer can also be programmed for ZigBee–based applications to ensure that communications are successful and that data is properly transmitted and received.
