Working Principle
The ENW-89811A6KF is a novel fully integrated RF transceiver module. It consists of an RF transmitter, an RF receiver, high speed sequencing memory wherein the data is processed, and an antenna switch. It enables data to be transmitted and received through a single antenna in UHF band.
The RF transmitter of the ENW-89811A6KF consists of a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), a programmable oscillator, a power amplifier, a frequency modulation unit and a low pass filter. The transmitter receives and decodes the transmitted digital data from the high speed memory, converts it into high frequency analog signals and transmits it through the antenna.
The RF receiver of the ENW-89811A6KF consists of two Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA), a fast frequency tracker and an Automatic Gain Control (AGC) unit. The receiver amplifies, filters and converts the incoming RF signals into digital data and stores it in the high speed memory. The AGC unit ensures that the incoming signals are always at a certain level so that the receiver can work more accurately.
The antenna switch of the ENW-89811A6KF is an important component for switching between the transmitted and received RF signals. It consists of two switched RF lines and two power supply lines. The switch is controlled with control signals from the processor or the FPGA. When a single antenna is used, the switches can be used to switch between the transmit and receive functions of the transceiver.
