The ERZ-E11E201 is a bi-directional, ESD/surge-protected device used in a wide range of applications, including communication and computer peripherals, panel meters, consumer electronics, home appliances, and automotive systems. The device has a two-sided structure and is available in both two- and three-line configurations to provide higher clamping efficiency. It is also designed with wide ESD limits and integrated ESD protection.

The ERZ-E11E201 is a bidirectional resistor made up of two metal oxide layers connected by an electrode and ceramic substrate. The two metal oxide layers (P and N) act as opposing resistances to the flow of current. When voltage spikes, the higher resistance of the P layer prevents current from flowing, and the lower resistance of the N layer absorbs the current spike.
