The ERZ –V10D331 belongs to a family of TVS – varistors, MOVs which are designed to protect sensitive electronic components from transients in power systems. The ERZ-V10D331 is designed to meet the needs of military and commercial applications. It is designed to provide superior protection from high-intensity pulses such as ESD, lightning and high-frequency transients in demanding environments.It is constructed of a ceramic substrate with a metal oxide varistor (MOV) metal composition layer that has a high electrical breakdown voltage. The ceramic substrate is mounted with two titanium layers and a low temperature bondable epoxy. The metal composition layer can provide a high capacitance and a low resistance to the transient voltage. The MOV also provides great thermal stability and high current surge capability.The electrical properties of the ERZ-V10D331 are important for providing superior transient protection. It has a maximum current rating of 30A. Its peak pulse current is 300A (8/20uSec). Its leakage current range is from 0.1μA to 1mA. Its capacitance range is from 0.40pF to 20pF.
