ESD-130-TT-04 application field and working principle

ESD-130-TT-04 are rectangular connectors with terminals, headers, receptacles, and female sockets, suitable for various types of applications. They are designed for connectors which require high-density connections for low insertion force, and high-withdrawl strength. The terminal positions are optimized to minimize any motion when mated together and maximize current carrying capabilities.

The ESD-130-TT-04 are built to meet the stringent requirements of medical, military, and aerospace industries. It uses reliable and secure twist-lock connection. The connection is simple and failsafe: when two mating fixtures are properly connected, they automatically secure each other, allowing a variety of connection options and easy installation.

The ESD-130-TT-04 has a male 3mm pin header with 8 optional positions, a receptacle terminals with 9-position, and a female 4mm socket with 8 positions; all of which are used to connect to the corresponding parts. The pin header is designed to offer reliable and secure connection providing superior electrical performance and strength. The terminals for the receptacle use a pre-bent rotating contact providing high performance with low insertion force and excellent high-withdrawal strength. The female socket has cruciform sockets for a secure interference fit which prevents any rotation movement when mating is complete.

The ESD-130-TT-04 uses a high-temperature/high-pressure polyester insulator that is able to function in temperatures ranging from -55℃ to +125℃. It also meets numerous safety certifications UL, CSA, EN/IEC, and VDE.
