Working Principle

ESW-111-58-L-S rectangular connectors work on the principle of interlocking metal components. These rectilinear connector technologies feature a pin contact piece connected to one of the housing walls to securely interlock and connect the two sections. The contact pieces are typically designed with some type of spring inside the contact head, allowing it to adjust to a variety of device thicknesses for a solid connection.

The locking tab ensures the durability and strength of the connection. When the tab is released, the two sections get separated and the electric current passing through them is blocked. Furthermore, the ESW-111-58-L-S connectors come with anti-ratcheting protrusion for making the assembly process easier and quick without any unnecessary cable handling.
