The EV-ADF4356SD1Z is a Zynq-based radio frequency hardware for Dual Synthesizer Tuning Module by Analog Devices, Inc. This evaluation board and kit is a complete solution for a wireless communication link application using frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) or direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS). The ADF4356 is a highly integrated dual frequency synthesizer IC with a unique architecture that provides excellent phase noise and fast switching speed. The ADF4356 is provided with an on-chip VCO, 2.4GHz and 5GHz RF output, and can operate in frequency ranges from 1.5GHz to 6GHz. The FM_STB 24GHz low-noise block downconverter receives the RF output signal from the ADF4356 and converts it to a digital signal that can be processed or transmitted to other systems. The EV-ADF4356SD1Z also provides a secure digital protocol interface and a JTAG interface for programming.
