The EV-ADF70301-915AZ is an RF Evaluation and Development Kit that combines all the necessary components to create a low power transceiver and simplifies the development of IoT (Internet of Things) applications. This kit includes a Microchip controller and transceiver antenna, which are contained in a small board. It can be used to develop applications for radio shield applications, as well as for systems using unlicensed 915MHz ISM and SRD frequencies. The EV-ADF70301-915AZ controller and transceiver provide a complete transceiver solution with integrated software and hardware, allowing for complete system control from one board. The device supports SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) and I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) protocols, as well as USB (Universal Serial Bus) and TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) connectivity. It is equipped with a variety of sleeping, data rate modulation and wireless communication modes, providing a powerful and highly flexible communication system.The Microchip EV-ADF70301-915AZ Transceiver uses a low-power radio transceiver to provide low power, high data rates over short range distances that can be applied in Zigbee, 802.15.4 and other wireless network applications. It can transmit up to 900 Mbps, with power consumption of less than 10 milliWatts, making it suitable for battery powered IoT applications. As a result, it is an ideal solution for embedded RF applications.The EV-ADF70301-915AZ working principle begins with the transceiver antenna connected to the microcontroller. Radiation is produced from the antenna when current is applied. The transmitted radio wave is picked up by another antenna and the received signal is then fed back to the transceiver. The demodulator is then used to decode the received signal.Once decoded, the transceiver interprets the received signal and forges a response if needed, using the on-board programming.
