The EV_ISZ-2510 is an Evaluation Board – Sensors module designed to provide quick and easy evaluation of the Innovtion Semiconductor\'s ISZ sensors. The module integrates all of the necessary elements to quickly evaluate and explore the ISZ sensors\' capabilities while providing a practical and reliable environment for experimentation and test measurements.
The EV_ISZ-2510 Evaluation Board – Sensors module is a complete and ready-to-use environment for sampling, test, and measurement of up to eight ISZ sensors. The board includes the ISZ socket and support circuitry (circuits for power, analog output, digital output, etc.), the control, and monitoring module, and the optional GUI software. The main features of the board are its comprehensive capability to test and measure up to 8 different ISZ sensors simultaneously, its extensibility and scalability for future expansion, its low power consumption, and a comprehensive firmware and optional GUI software for remote control. The board also provides direct access to all of the inputs, outputs and control pins for complete programmability and testing capabilities.
The main applications of EV_ISZ-2510 Evaluation Board – Sensors module include evaluating new sensors, testing the performance of existing ISZ sensors, data acquisition and testing, quality control and assurance, automated laboratory experiments, industrial process control, and embedded systems. High-volume manufacturing, system prototyping, development, and scientific research and development are also facilitated by this board.
EV_ISZ-2510 Evaluation Board – Sensors is designed to work in a very simple and straightforward architecture that uses a series of bus-connected circuitry to enable sufficient access to all of its components. ISZ sockets, a clock source, and a set of selectable analog and digital IO pins compose the core of the board. A voltage regulator module is also provided to provide efficient and reliable power to the other components on the board. ISZ Sensors (either fully integrated or add-on modules) are then attached to the board to provide the sensing, monitoring, and measurement functionalities.
The ISZ sensors are communicated to the board through a standard Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) communication port. The commands sent from the UART are received by the board\'s MCU, which then processes them accordingly to generate the corresponding commands which are then sent to the related ISZ sensors by their assigned ISZ buses, providing full control and configuration of the sensors.
The optional GUI software enables the user to send and receive sensor data and monitor the board\'s settings very easily, allowing for quick and remote testing of multiple ISZ sensors, and modification of the board\'s properties. All the other settings, operations and parameters of the board are also accessible by controlling the ISZ buses directly using the control and monitoring module, or using the integrated firmware.
