The EVB-EN5335QI Evaluation Board for the EN5335QI is a product designed for medium power, high efficiency switch mode power supply (SMPS) applications. It is a high performance board for industrial and non-industrial applications. It features high isolation grade up to 4kV, over power and over temperature protections, a wide input voltage range from 90Vac to 265Vac, and a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +105°C.
The EN5335QI is a high efficiency AC/DC, and DC/DC, SMPS controller integrated circuit (IC) designed for offline-power applications. The device inherently integrates a primary side sensing (PSS) topology, allowing direct transfer of the lightly loaded power line voltage to the primary side switch, eliminating the need for an opto-coupler. The device also offers a wide operating input range, high efficiency and low EMI due to its advanced design. The combination of these attributes makes the EN5335QI device suitable for a variety of medium power applications, including desktop PC supplies, game console supplies, motor drives, and various industrial applications.
The EVB-EN5335QI Evaluation Board is designed to help engineers understand and verify the device’s feature set and performance. The board is supplied as a complete system, with all components necessary to build a stable DC output. The IC itself is supplied in a maximized single-in-line (SIL) package to save the required board area and enable easy mounting. All components related to the primary side current sensing are integrated on module, allowing isolated reactive power sensing.

- Current feedback- The output current is regulated by a current sensor & loop regulation
- Power control- Constant power control is achieved by combining the regulation loops
