The EVB-EN6337QA evaluation board is a development platform designed to evaluate the performance of EN6337QA AC/DC converter in DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications. The AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS provides power conversion solutions with high power factor, high efficiency, large load, wide input voltage range, and low cost. This power converter is suitable for applications such as wireless charging, outdoor 5G base station, and data center power supply, etc.

The EVB-EN6337QA evaluation board is specifically designed for the EN6337QA power converter. It is an integrated board that combines the power module, control IC, and peripheral components, which provides a complete power solution for users. The evaluation board comes with two quad-channel 3.3V/3A, 5V/3A, 12V/2A, and -12V/500mA full power output devices with a powerful 90W and wide input voltage range of 90~264VAC.

The working principle of the EVB-EN6337QA evaluation board is based on the EN6337QA AC/DC converter. It works as a power factor correction (PFC) boost converter in a continuous mode of operation. The power module uses a high frequency switch to control the power output and the control IC is used to regulate the output voltage. The evaluation board provides three operating modes: constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), and constant power (CP). It is capable of delivering clean and reliable power by providing over-voltage, overload, short circuit protection, etc.

In the CV mode, the power of the EVB-EN6337QA evaluation board is regulated by a feedback loop. The output voltage is sensed and compared with the reference voltage to produce an error signal, which is then used to adjust the switching frequency and duty cycle of the power switch. The CC mode operates in a similar fashion but the output current is regulated instead of the output voltage. In the CP mode, the power output is regulated by controlling both the output voltage and the current. This mode ensures that the output power of the evaluation board remains constant while the input voltage and output load vary.

The EVB-EN6337QA evaluation board is ideal for developing DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications. It is easy to use and provides a complete solution for power conversion. It has a wide input voltage range of 90~264VAC and can deliver up to 90W of power. It provides excellent protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection. The three operating modes (CV, CC, and CP) enable the evaluation board to accurately regulate the output power and voltage.
