The EVB_RT4832AWSC is an evaluation board designed to provide designers a platform to quickly verify the functionality of RT4832AWSC in different application fields. The evaluation board has reduced the evaluation efforts and time to design, develop and testing a power system, which can be used in the Car & Desk lamp, TV backlight, General lighting, and Industrial Sensor. This making it ideal for developers to prototype, evaluate and debug their projects in less time and cost.

The board contains the RT4832AWSC in eight-pin SON, a low-voltage P-channel MOSFET, an RT8472 voltage monitor, an RT8411A voltage regulator, and some oscillator components. Each component is arranged in the PCB and all components are connected in series to complete the power supply design.

The RT4832AWSC is a high-performance and low-voltage switching regulator, providing up to 200mA per channel current output in a compact SON package. The converter integrates with multiple protection and allows eFuse Discharge Programmable I2c control to adjust the output voltage, realizes multiple power supply chain output, reduces the number of external components, saves board space and simplifies product design and production.

The RT4832AWSC is a single-channel buck converter with two configuration switches to adjust the output voltage. The converter is designed to operate in a wide voltage range and is ideal for powering white LED backlights and LED displays. The dynamic I2T protection and cycle-by-cycle current limit protection are integrated in the device and protect the converter from hazardous conditions. It also provides an Enable input to increase efficiency and save power when the system is in sleep mode.

The RT4832AWSC also equipped eFuse discharge programmable I2C control, which is used to further fine-tune the output voltage. This ensures the output voltage meets the application needs quickly and accurately. Additionally, it provides temperature protection in the case of short-circuit and external testing pin which can be used to monitor the voltage status.

In EVB_RT4832AWSC, this evaluation board focused increased the ease of use for designers by integrating several distinct features, such as wide input voltage range, high efficiency, programmable output voltage, low dropout voltage, and over-temperature protection.
