EVB_RT6219AGQW is a high performance off-line SMPS evaluation board, which is designed using the RT6219AGQW, a cost-effective power supply controller. It offers many advantages such as low quiescent current, low startup current, low power consumption, fast transient response, adjustable soft-start and no-load protection, as well as an accurate output voltage. This evaluation board is perfect for AC/DC or DC/DC applications.

The working principle of EVB_RT6219AGQW is fairly simple and straightforward. It is based on a flyback topology, which is used for converting electrical power from a source to a load, where the source is an AC mains voltage and the load is an electronic device. The AC input voltage is rectified to provide a DC voltage, which is then used to feed the switching flyback transformer.
