This power supply system is designed to provide very high levels of conversion efficiency, low heat generation, and excellent AC noise immunity. This power supply system is especially suitable for notebook PCs, digital TV sets, home appliances, consumer electronics, servers, telecom equipment, industrial and medical equipment, etc.ApplicationThe EVB_RT7236GQW is a high-performance integrated power converter for a variety of applications such as notebook PCs, digital TV sets, home electronic equipment, consumer electronics, servers, telecom equipment, industrial and medical equipment, etc. This power converter can provide an output voltage of up to 24 volts with a current range of up to 10 amperes and an output power of up to 240 watts. This power converter is capable of converting direct current from a 12V battery or other power source into the required DC voltage levels efficiently and safely. The system also includes a variety of protection features, such as over-current, over-voltage, and overload protection. Working PrincipleThe EVB_RT7236GQW utilizes an innovative full-bridge rectifier topology for excellent power conversion efficiency and power security. In this type of power converter, two symmetrical half-bridge direct voltages with rectifying wave forms are generated in the primary coils, acting as a bridge between the primary and secondary windings. The two symmetrical rectified voltages are then applied to the secondary winding through a filter network. This filter network eliminates the parasitic ripple and lower harmonic current components generated by the hybrid PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) voltage optimization circuit. The PWM circuit also helps to reduce the output voltage and current ripple. The optimized voltage and current are then supplied to the load. Besides its primary duty, the EVB_RT7236GQW also provides various protection features. It contains an independent over-current and over-voltage protection circuit that prevents the output voltage from exceeding its specified operation parameters. This protection circuit is connected to monitor the output voltage and current levels and disconnect the load if it exceeds its specified parameters.
