EVB_RT7247AHGSP is especially designed for adaptive or switch mode power supply applications. It is derived from the generalFlyback/Forward continuous conduction mode converters. The EVB is based on a one-stage topology, either operating in CVCC or CCM. It offers a wide input voltage range from 80 to 265VAC (47 to 63Hz). The output voltage is adjustable from 0.5 to 5V. The maximum output current can up to 30A. Also,this EVB has different features such as Over-Voltage protection, Under-voltage Protection and Overtemperature Protection for the safety of end users.
The EVB_RT7247AHGSP board comes with a PFC controller to improve the power factor (PF) effect of the device. This board adopts a high-frequency switching technology to operate in base PWM control. It also features an advanced burst-mode standby function with very low standby power consumption, achieving the lowest power consumption in no-load conditions. The internal synchronous rectification design improves efficiency up to 94%. Also, it adopts active power recovery electronics, which can reduce input surge current.
EVB_RT7247AHGSP works through a pulse width modulation (PWM) control system. It is a kind of switching wave signal with repetition period of 1KHz and duty cycle from 0% to 100% during a switching cycle. The pulse width modulated signal is shaped to derive gate trigger signals for the power electronics switches. The parameter of the PWM signal is controlled by the external components, such as the feedback voltage.
