EVB-USB3503 Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and KitsThe EVB-USB3503 evaluation and demonstration board is an all-in-one solution for evaluating and demonstrating the USB3503 three-port hub controller. It provides a convenient platform for designers to evaluate the performance of their USB hub designs. This board allows engineers to experiment and debug their designs at a system level before creating their own demonstrate board.The USB3503 is a three-port USB 2.0-compliant hub controller that supports the simultaneous operation of low, full- and high-speed USB. The USB3503 supports three downstream ports, one upstream port, and two separate power ports with power switching. It also provides a power-on button, an over-current indicator, and five status LEDs. The EVB-USB3503 Evaluation and Demonstration (E&D) board is designed to evaluate and demonstrate the USB3503 three-port hub controller. The EVB-USB3503 board is powered up through a USB interface, either from a PC or from an external power supply. The EVB-USB3503 is capable of operating from +3.3 volts to +5 volts.The EVB-USB3503 board allows the user to evaluate and demonstrate key features of the USB3503\'s power and data paths including:• Power switching capability• Power loss circuit• Hot-swappable hubs• Over-current protection• Power supply selection• Single-connect and multi-connect scenarios• Hub reset and power-on reset • Compliance testingThe EVB-USB3503 includes a specialized USB-based toolchain to assist in debugging and developing custom hub designs.
