The EVB-Z100S1AFR is an Evaluation and Development Kit (EDK) board that provides a platform to develop wireless applications based on the Zentri Z8/Z802 Series MCU family. This series of wireless MCUs have the capability to transmit and receive data wirelessly via a wide range of protocols including 868MHz, 915MHz, 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It is ideally suited for developing low-power, cost-effective, and reliable IOT solutions in industrial, medical, and consumer applications.

The EVB-Z100S1AFR EDK has a host of features like onboard 1 MB of FLASH and 128KB of SRAM, as well as 4 universal serial bus (USB) ports, one RS232 serial port, 6-pin ICSP connector, and one 10-pin ICSP connector. Not only can the EVB-Z100S1AFR be used to develop applications based on Z8/Z802 series MCUs, but it can also be used to control external devices via its USB and RS232 ports.
