The board includes an ARM® Cortex®-M3 processor, a separate FTDI FT810CB Triple-HDMI board, and a 4-layer MCP board. The board also contains a variety of I/O interfaces, such as BLE, USB, HDMI, I2C, and 2-wire control.

The software components of the EVK-UFT281-2-3 include an embedded application running on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor and a variety of user interfaces and graphical applications that allow users to control and configure lighting solutions. The embedded application contains libraries for controlling and configuring lighting solutions, including basic lighting functions, PWM waveforms, LED control, dimming, color control, power-on and power-off sequences, and other features for controlling the system.
