The EVM-868-PRC-CAS is an easy to use evaluation and development kit from RF Solutions intended for the purposes of testing and prototyping in FM radio, 900 MHz ISM-band Radio featuring narrow band LORA®, and 433 MHz radio applications. This kit allows for an engineer to evaluate a design and product prototype an idea instantaneously as the environment and required parts are all included in the kit. By utilizing this kit, a engineer can reduce the amount of time, resources, and cost that is associated with the new product development process.

The EVM-868-PRC-CAS board includes two separate receiver boards (the RF Solutions RFL-868-PRC VHF/Amateur Radio Transceivers and the RF Solutions RFL-433 433 MHz Radio Transceiver ICs). The boards come in a small PC board layout which makes them is ideal for use in applications such as security systems, alarm systems, remote controls, with additional parts included on the board which support a wide range of radio applications. It is also suitable for prototyping, evaluation, and testing of radio frequency LDR/LORA®, narrow-band FM radio receivers, and 433 MHz radio receivers.

The RF Solutions RFL-868-PRC VHF/Amateur Radio Transceivers are used in integrated FM receivers and radio-controlled products. It is designed to be able to receive signals on the 868 MHz frequency band. This transceiver is ideal for applications where a highly sensitive, low-cost receiver is needed such as in security systems, remote controls, and alarms. Additionally, this receiver provides a high degree of integration, such as the ability to detect and decode multiple data formats.

The RF Solutions RFL-433 433 MHz Radio Transceiver ICs are used in applications that require an ultra-low power, efficacious data transmission. They are suitable for remote control and alarm systems, as well as for close proximity applications. It is a complete transceiver and offers a wide range of features, including a preamplifier, integrated transmitter, and integrated receiver. The integrated radio transceiver can easily be interfaced with a USB or a microcontroller, which allows for the efficient control, sending, and receiving of data.

The included boards, parts and components of the EVM-868-PRC-CAS RF Evaluation and Development Kit enable a engineer to rapidly develop applications and radio products without having to rapidly configure a circuit and develop parts from scratch.
