EX-Z11FB-PR is an industrial photoelectric sensor and part of the extensive EX Family High Power Range of products from Peppers Electronics Company. Utilizing precision optics, the EX Sensor Series is used for a wide range of applications, monitoring and controlling presence, absence, gap, surface or color.

The EX-Z11FB-PR is a long range diffuse sensing device with a long-lens-type position detector enabling it to sense objects located up to 50 meters away. The output is an NPN output with 200mA maximum current capability, enabling long-distance wiring of up to 500m.

The EX-Z11FB-PR can also be used in conjunction with a PLC for communication purposes or to provide a PLC controlled switching output. The PLC can be programmed to detect an object based on parameters set up in the sensing circuitry. This allows the sensor to be used in “closed loop” systems, providing feedback information to the PLC in order to adjust the operation of machinery in response to changes in the environment.
