The EYP-2BN099 is a standard Thermal Cutoff (TCO) device specifically designed to serve as a reliable safety protector in domestic and commercial applications involving solid, wire and hybrid electric motors. This device and its many variations are designed to accurately monitor and maintain a temperature level that determines when the system should be shut down.
The EYP-2BN099 is designed to control temperatures between 0-85°C with a tolerance of ±3°C, and will cut off if the temperature rises above the set level. The device features two integrated lead wires for simple and safe installation. It has a power rating of 1.8 W/K and a maximum voltage of 250Vac. The EYP-2BN099 is UL, cUL, and ENEC certified for safety. The device’s housing is constructed from a self-extinguishing, thermoplastic material, containing a highly resistive-insulation.
The working principle of the EYP-2BN099 is based on a simple “trip” method. It starts by automatically controlling the thermal protection of the motor.
