There is no need for a separate lock or secondary locking system to secure the connection.The plug and socket are made from die-cast aluminum and the contacts are made from beryllium copper with gold plating. This construction provides a reliable electrical connection, but also ensures a secure mechanical connection that is resistant to vibration, extreme temperatures and other environmental conditions. Additionally, the connectors are designed to withstand extreme mechanical shocks and high levels of humidity.Once the plug and socket connection is established, the FFA.0A.275.FTAC40 provides an electrical path for radio frequency signals to be transmitted through the cable.
