Working Principle

The working principle of the FFA.2E.675.CTAK95 is based on coaxial transmission of signal through a central conductor and an outer conductive sleeve surrounded by a dielectric material. The inner conductor is made of solid or stranded matte silver plated copper wires which are terminated by crimping a ferrule. The outer conductor consists of a metal tough shell encompassing a shielding foil made out of a combination of beryllium and copper. Its unique hexagonal top provides extra performance and strength. The mesh type shielding provides more efficient and reliable shielding by reducing the radial space between the outer and inner contact.

The FFA.2E.675.CTAK95 connector is equipped with a 2 position key design. It is also fitted with an insulator body and is supplied with an O-ring for environmental sealing. The material used for construction is Brass, and it is designed to meet US military specifications. The connector offers excellent electrical performance, low insertion loss, low return loss and a good VSWR. Its minimum insulation resistance is 1000M ohms at 25°C.
