FI-E30S working principle

FI-E30S consists of two parts, a non-insulated male connector with exposed contacts and a noninsulated female connector with exposed contacts. The contacts of the female connector fit into cavities in the male connector. The number of male contacts and female contacts are the same, and they are fitted into the male connector in a consistent and symmetrical pattern. When the required mating force is reached, the connector is firmly connected. In order to prevent improper mating or separation of the connectors, guide pins are provided on the male and female connectors, ensuring that the two connectors are correctly aligned.

FI-E30S performance

FI-E30S has superior electrical characteristics and is well-suited for quick-connect operations. This type of connector design minimizes risk of contact damage due to shock and vibration. The FI-E30S header has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC or 500 VDC and an insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ minimum. The connector is rated up to 0.2A and a contact resistance of 35 mΩ per pin. Additionally, FI-E30S has a temperature rating of -40°C to +85°C and a compression strength of 19.6N/mm2.
