Working Principle

The FI-W19S connector works using two threaded screws that can be used to firmly bind the connector to the wire. As the screw is tightened, the insulation is placed in between the screw and the connector, forming a tight seal. This is accomplished by the two parts of the assembly working in unison; the first part of the assembly is the die-cast zinc terminal which rods the cable ends. The second part is the top cap which has two screws which mechanically lock the terminal to the cable or wire. Once firmly connected, an electrical connection is established instantly.
