The CLVC mode offers load-transient performance, making it ideal for applications that require maximum power efficiency and load sharing capability.The FIT0169 family also features integrated output drivers, including current-mode logic (CML), low-dropout (LDO) regulators, and pulse-width modulation (PWM) control algorithms. These features allow the FIT0169 family to support a wide range of output current and voltage requirements.Working PrincipleThe FIT0169 series is based on a synchronous buck converter topology. This topology uses a switch to alternate between the input supply and the output load. The switching is managed using pulsewidth modulation.The IC of the FIT0169 determines the duty cycle of the switch based on different control algorithms. The two main control algorithms used by the FIT0169 are lock-joint voltage control (LVC) and current-limiting voltage control (CLVC).In the LVC mode, the IC will control the duty cycle of the switch in order to maintain a steady output voltage. The duty cycle is adjusted dynamically in response to changes in the input voltage and load current.
