FLB-100 fuses are special type of overcurrent protection that are designed in particular for phase and neutral protection of power transformer. This type of fuse is particularly designed for individual phase and neutral protection. The rated breaking capacity of these devices is higher than the rated current of the device, allows higher overload current and provide protection for short circuit current that appears in case of fault.

FLB-100 application field consists mainly of industrial and commercial power transformer. Because its designed for individual protection of phase and neutral, offers higher level of safety as it has better current limiting characteristics. These types of fuses can be used with standard circuit breakers as they are compatible with all electric systems.

The working principle of FLB-100 fuses is based on the principle of thermal cutoff. When an overload or short circuit current appears, the current flow will heat the elements contained in the fuse such as the contacts, which will open and will stop the flow of current. These fuses have a unique design due to its screw thread design which allows for easy installation and removal.

FLB-100 have high breaking capacity and short circuit current limiting attributes. The fuse has a wide range of operating temperature up to 150°C which is very useful for higher input or output current applications. It can also withstand larger current pulses, it has good reliable and it can be easily and accurately set for the rated current.

The main advantage of FLB-100 is its greater ability to clear short circuit current. It can limiting short circuit current due to its low thermal inertia and high breaking capacity fuses. It is suitable for single phase and neutral system also it is easy to install and remove. The FLB-100 has a high mechanical strength, which is very advantageous in industrial applications.
