Fuses-FLF-60 application field and working principle

Fuses have existed for hundreds of years, and are still widely used in a variety of applications today. A fuse is a device used to protect circuit elements or wiring from an excessive current. When there is an abnormal current flow, a fuses can quickly disconnect the circuit, preventing further supply of energy and thus preventing potential damage.

FLF-60 series fuses are particularly suited for short circuit, overload and short circuit protection in generator circuits. It has excellent characteristics of breaking capacity and selectivity and has a dual function of both short circuit protection and overload protection.

FLF-60 application field

The FLF-60 series fuses are most commonly used for the protection of generators but can also be used for other industrial applications such as electric motors, power supplies, distribution systems, electronic systems and instrumentation. It is also suitable for use in any circuit where overload and short circuit protection is needed.

FLF-60 working principle

The key to the FLF-60 series fuses working is its construction. It has a section of special alloy wire linked in series, which melts when an overload occurs. The melting of the alloy cuts off the flow of current, protecting the circuit. This means that when an overload occurs, the fuse will quickly exceed its rated current, melt, and disconnect the circuit.

At the same time, the unique characteristics of the special alloy wire also allows it to react quickly, responding to abnormal current faster than any other type of fuse. This ensures that the fuse can reset itself after the fault current has been disrupted and the fuse reset.

In short, the FLF-60 series fuses are designed to protect circuits from overload and short circuit conditions. It quickly responds to abnormal currents, ensuring maximum protection of the circuit from damage.
