Working Principle

The FTP-1500 pressure transmitter is a differential pressure type pressure transmitter. It uses a diaphragm type sensing element. It is mainly composed of a diaphragm, a diaphragm strain gauge, a signal preamplifier circuit and a temperature compensation circuit.

The sensing element of the FTP-1500 is a diaphragm, and its middle has a strain gauge. When the pressure acts on the diaphragm, the diaphragm will deform and cause the strain gauge to change resistance. At this time, the signal preamplifier circuit will amplify the weak signal generated by the strain gauge. Through the temperature compensation circuit, an accurate output signal can be obtained.

The output signal of the pressure transmitter is 4~20mA or 0~5V two-wire signal, and two sets of relay alarm points can be set in the range. The zero point and span can be adjusted conveniently by the potentiometer.
