An oscillator is a device that generates a close-range or repetitive electronic, electrical or acoustic waveform that is often periodic. This oscillation can be a stable, repeated pattern or a timestamped output, such as a periodic clock signal. Oscillators can be used for a wide range of applications, such as supplying current to a motor, powering microphone transmissions, generating tone signals for intercom systems, producing low-power GPS signals and in medical imaging machines.The FXTC-HE73PR-16.67 MHz oscillator is an example of a crystal oscillator, which is a type of oscillator that uses a quartz crystal to produce a set of stable electrical signals. In order to maintain stability, these adjustment elements must be adjusted with precision to the oscillator’s fundamental frequency.The FXTC-HE73PR-16.67 MHz oscillator has an operating temperature range between -30°C and +85°C and a supply voltage range of 4.75 volts to 5.25 volts. It is designed to operate within this temperature range and supply voltage range and to maintain stability and long-term accuracy within a frequency tolerance of +15/-15 ppm.The FXTC-HE73PR-16.67 MHz oscillator is suitable for a variety of applications, such as GPS receivers, medical devices, telecom systems, audio systems, RF test equipment and power supplies.
