Signal relays are power devices designed to run electromechanical switches from an electrical current at one control voltage level to another. They provide an effective way to connect two or more circuits with or without different voltages. The G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12 is a signal relay for up to 2 Amps current and operates at 12 Volts DC.
Application Field of G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12
This specific signal relay specially designed for low current applications such as home automation and various security applications such as access control systems, CCTV systems, etc. It is also can used for automotive applications including automobile climate control systems, electric car charging/discharging control, and various car accessories. Furthermore, it is also widely used for power control, telecommunication, microprocessor and personal computer\'s peripheral control, process control, instrumentation, security protection and industrial automation.
Working Principle of G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12
G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12 operates on a unique operating principle which includes four terminals namely the common terminal (COM), the normally open terminal (NO), normally closed terminal (NC), and the trigger terminal (TR). The device requires 12 volts of DC power for operation. Connecting the COM terminal to the 12 volts DC energizes the relay, which in turn switches the NO terminal to the 12 volts DC. To deactivate the G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12, the 12 volts DC is disconnected by disconnecting the COM terminal.
The G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12 is operated by connecting the TR terminal to a logical 0 voltage. The logical 0 voltage closes the internal contacts and switches the NO terminal to the 12 volts DC. This allows the connected circuit to be controlled by the operating voltage supplied to the COM terminal. When the logical 0 voltage applied to the TR terminal is removed, the internal contacts open and the 12 volts is disconnected from the NO terminal. In other words, when the trigger voltage is applied to the TR terminal, the signal relay is activated; when the trigger voltage is removed, the signal relay is deactivated.
The G6A-274P-ST10-US DC12 is a powerful signal relay for up to 2 Amps current. Its wide range of applications makes it widely used for home automation, security applications like access control systems, CCTV systems, automotive applications like automobile climate control systems, electric car charging/discharging control and various car accessories. This signal relay is operated by connecting the TR terminal to a logical 0 voltage. It is thus a simple and effective signal relay for current up to 2 Amps.
