Working Principle

The G6L-1P-DC4.5 signal relay is a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) type relay. When the coil energizes, the movable armature lifts the contacts away from the normally-closed (NC) contacts and closes the normally-open (NO) contacts. When the coil is de-energized, the movable armature returns to the NC contacts. The contacts are designed for low contact resistance and they will remain closed until the coil voltage is removed. The contacts are gold-plated silver, which has superior conductivity and increases its reliability and long life.
