Its fast-acting element offers protection against short circuits, while the slow-acting elements help protect against high power surges, overloads, and other over-current conditions. Its fast-acting element reacts quickly to prevent damage to equipment, while the slow-acting elements provide additional protection from high power surges and other over-current conditions.The GMC-800MA is available in a variety of shapes and sizes, and can be used to protect equipment with current ranges from 500 amps to 12,000 amps.
