GW-357-4 is one of the many types of RF receiver, transmitter, and transceiver finished units available in the market. It can be used for a variety of applications, such as cellular communication, broadband access systems, wireless digital transfer, short and medium-range communication, satellite and military communication systems. The GW-357-4 was designed to have excellent performance in both transmit and receive modes. It can operate in the frequency range of 153.35 GHz to 161.35GHz, with a typical gain of 29 dB at the center frequency and a low noise figure of 1.8dB. It has high linearity and is capable of handling up to 10 watts of power. The unit also features a low intermodulation distortion of -50dBc and a high dynamic range. The GW-357-4 consists of a low noise amplifier, a frequency up-converter, an intermediate frequency (IF) filter, an IF amplifier, an IF mixer, a frequency down-converter, an image reject filter, and a detector. The unit can be used in both transmit and receive operations. In transmit mode, the signal is first fed to the low noise amplifier. This amplified signal is then sent to the frequency up-converter, where it is mixed with a local oscillator signal to produce an output frequency. This output frequency is fed to the IF filter, where it is filtered down to the desired bandwidth. The filtered signal is then amplified by the IF amplifier and sent to the IF mixer, where it is mixed with a second local oscillator signal to produce an output signal. This output signal is then sent to the frequency down-converter, where it is mixed with a third local oscillator signal. The resulting signal is then sent to the image reject filter and the output signal is produced. In receive mode, the signal is first fed into the frequency down-converter, where it is mixed with a local oscillator signal to produce an output frequency. This output frequency is then sent to the IF filter, where it is filtered down to the desired bandwidth. The filtered signal is then amplified by the IF amplifier and sent to the IF mixer, where it is mixed with a second local oscillator signal. The resulting signal is then sent to the image reject filter and the output signal is produced.Overall, the GW-357-4 provides an excellent performance in both transmit and receive operations. Its high linearity and low noise figure make it particularly suitable for applications such as cellular communication, broadband access systems, wireless digital transfer, short and medium-range communication, satellite and military communication systems.
