GW6DMA27NFC LED light engine is based on Luminus Devices’ revolutionary LEDs array– CLM – Color Light ManagerTM. CLM is a proprietary LED array with superior color capabilities and superior thermal management. Its unique thermal engineering allows the array to deliver high lumen output while preserving the integrity of each individual LED.The GW6DMA27NFC LED light engine is based on a 13 mm x 13 mm package size. The driver chip is Cortex-M3 Core architecture and the LED array has metal Optical-grade substrate which provides superior thermal and mechanical properties. It uses active LED thermal management system which ensures long LED MTA life and thermal recovery back to the original designed temperature even in high power or hot environment.GW6DMA27NFC Working Principle
The GW6DMA27NFC LED light engine works on the principle of heat dissipation. The driver chip works in conjunction with the metal substrate and the active LED thermal management system to spread heat evenly across the array, thereby ensuring a more efficient and controlled heat dissipation. The active LED thermal management system also helps in maintaining a constant illumination throughout the array, resulting in a uniform appearance.The CLM array works by emitting light directly onto the target area, thus reducing the losses associated with secondary optics like reflectors, diffusers and colored glass. The advanced combination of material on the optical-grade substrate ensures optimal performance and color accuracy while preventing visible hot spots.The CLM array and the Cortex-M3 Core combination ensures maximum efficiency, allowing for superior color control and ultra-bright illumination. The driver chip utilizes PWM technology, which is proven to be effective in controlling the brightness of the LED.
