Through Hole Resistors

Through hole resistors (or THRs) are the most common type of resistor. They are composed of two parts, a body and a lead. The body is usually made of ceramic or metal and has two metal contacts, or leads, on either side. The resistor is connected by electrical wires to the contacts on either side, and the current flowing through it is regulated by the material that makes up the body.The H83K16BYA is a through-hole resistor manufactured by Honeywell.
