Working Principle

Heb-AD fuseholder is based on a spring-loaded mechanism which opens to install a fuse and securely holds and positions it when in place. Upon connection to a circuit, it sets the thermal and/or electrical characteristics of the fuse according to the connected device. By increasing the current in a conductor, the electromagnetism generated will induce an electromagnetic force, which will be equal to the force of the spring. When the force increases to a certain point, it overcomes the spring force, and the contact bridge moves to the open position. This prevents current from flowing back through the circuit, thereby protecting the connected device.
