The chopper circuit is used for error compensation when the direction of rotation is changed. The optical filter is used to eliminate stray light.Working Principle
The fundamental working principle of the HEDS-9140#H00 encoder is based on the magnetic field that is generated by the magnetized regions on the fixed disk in response to the polarized beams from the two LEDs in the encoder head, which is interrupted by the opaque segments of the rotary disk.
