HEZ-AA

It is a two-step fuse that includes an inner fuse and an outer fuse. The inner fuse is inserted first into the HEZ-AA device and the outer fuse is inserted after that. Each of the fuses has specific advantages. The inner fuse prevents against overloading of the circuit whereas the outer fuse prevents the current from rising too high. The inner fuse is typically a thermal fuse or a cartridge fuse. Thermal fuses operate by tripping when the temperature of the circuit rises above the rated temperature. Cartridge fuses operate by opening a circuit once the current passes the pre-set current. The outer fuse is usually a thermal overload protector. This type of fuse monitors the current in the circuit and trips when the current exceeds the preset current.
