Working Principle

The HLE-133-02-L-DV-PE type single wire female connector is composed of a connector header containing a metal contacts and a female terminal receptacle containing a plastic housing. The internal element is a pair of insulating contacts. The contact consists of parallel concentric contact segments. For an installation, the contacts must be in contact and connected before the connector is locked. Connector headers and female terminal receptacles must be fully turned to locked state before the connection is reliable. The header normally requires a snap-in system, while the female terminal receptacle requires a locking ring or flange. After completely locking the connector, pull the female terminal receptacle out of the header, and at the same time the contacts in the header will be disconnected and the connection will be disconnected.
