The transistors, when connected to the circuit, act as a switch that opens and closes the circuit and controls the flow of current to the LED.The LED will then emit a bright and diffused light when a voltage is passed through it. This is because the voltage, when applied to the LED, causes electrons to flow in one direction and produces a current.
