The HLMP-SL10-LPKDD Discrete LED Indication technology is a motion sensing current control circuit designed to reduce system power consumption while providing the latest in LED control technology. This circuit provides an input line to a master controller responsible for controlling the LED devices and, through the line voltage control, offers an output line to a second LED chip which is programmed to detect motion.The Discrete LED Indication family is designed to detect motion and accordingly switch on or off a LED device. The circuit controls current to each LED device allowing it to be on or off at certain times during the day or night. This technology supports the popularly used 24-hour formats such as "day-night" or "night only".Additionally, each LED device can be configured with a unique identity number, allowing for automated programming for significantly improved system performance and energy conservation. This technology is also compatible with numerous open source communication protocols such as Zigbee and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).The HLMP-SL10-LPKDD Discrete LED Indication technology works in three stagesincluing power enter, signal control, and lighting. Once power has been supplied to the DiscretelED Indication family, an internal reference voltage is generated that is used to compare the input voltage with the reference voltage to ensure the LEDs are operating within their normal operating range. The internal reference voltage is adjusted accordingly to prevent the LED’s from consuming too much power and overloading the system.Once the input voltage has been corrected, the discrete LED devices are driven through the signal control. The signal control stage activates the discrete LED devices based on the motion sensing current controls and is programmable to allow the user to customize the switching on and off of the device or devices. The current level is adjusted according to the techniques mentioned above, allowing for the regulation of current to each LED device in order to control theirBrightness levels.Finally, once the desired current level has been set, the LEDs are then turned on or off, providing lightingcontrol. The user can specify the light level to either be constant or pulsed, depending on their application requirements. When in pulsed mode, the LEDs are switched on and off ata specified frequency allowing for the dimming of the LEDs according to the users’ desire.In conclusion, HLMP-SL10-LPKDD Discrete LED Indication is a motion sensing current control circuit designed to reduce system power consumption while providing the latest in LED control technology.
