The holder consists of a thin cylindrical section with a pair of terminals of either gold-plating or nickel-plated brass. Along with the terminals, there is a finger piece that is also placed within the holder in order to operate the mechanism.The operation of the holder is quite straightforward. To begin, the user must turn the finger piece to the position of the terminals. Once the finger is locked in place, the user can insert a standard sized fuse into the holder. Once the process is completed, the user may then turn the finger piece to the open position in order to remove the fuse.
