Fuseholders

The HLS-10-SL fuseholder is a general-purpose stud mount fuseholder that is suitable for use in control circuits, industrial machinery, and equipment. It is constructed from made from die-cast zinc alloy and designed to hold standard blade type fuses. It features a locking nut and integral design for secure and easy mounting. The contact pad is made from phosphor bronze and has a thermal shut-down mechanism for added safety.

Application Field

The HLS-10-SL fuseholder is designed for use with 10A and 12A rated blade type fuses. It is suitable for use in control circuits, industrial machinery, and equipment. It is designed to be used in environments with temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to + 80°C (176°F) with an improved level of IP 68 for the range -25°C (-13°F) to + 70°C (158°F). It is also approved by UL, CSA, VDE.

Working Principle

The HLS-10-SL fuseholder features a locking nut that securely fastens it to the mounting surface. The contact pad is made from phosphor bronze and has a thermal shut-down mechanism. This mechanism is designed to protect the fuse from overheating that could cause a fire. The contact pad has a shaped blade that inserts into the fuse and a connection area at the end. These two areas make the electrical connection between the fuse and the power source.

The HLS-10-SL fuseholder is also designed with an improved level of IP 68 protection. This provides a greater level of protection from dust and moisture, ensuring a safe and reliable connection. This ensures the fuse will not be affected by dust, dirt, or moisture, and will provide adequate protection for the system.
